Kerið crater along route 35. The caldera is approximately 55 m (180 ft) deep, 170 m (560 ft) wide, and 270 m (890 ft) across. The steep circular slopes resemble an ancient amphitheatre. It's said that in the summer of 1987, a concert was held here, with the performers (including Björk) on a raft on the lake and the audience sitting on one of the slopes of the crater.
